At IDS Ltd. we strongly advocate the Multi-Disciplinary Team approach and we believe that good communication is an essential element of this. Using the correct terminology is clearly important - this guide will hopefully be an aid to this.

We also supply and fit a wide range of specialist footwear.

We specialise in the manufacture, fitting and maintenance of a very wide range of prostheses and orthoses, most of which are made in our workshops at Cappagh.

Prosthetic and orthotic clinics are held at Cappagh five days per week, Monday to Friday. We currently hold a combined prosthetic and orthotic satellite clinic in the Limerick area twice per month. We also hold orthotic satellite clinics in many other areas of Ireland. Currently these include Waterford, Cavan, Navan, Monaghan, Dundalk, Drogheda, Sligo and Letterkenny.

If you are a Health Care Professional and would like to refer a patient/client please contact us by telephone, fax or e-mail. All assessments are free of charge and the service is open to both publicly and privately funded patients/clients.

Under certain circumstances we can accept self referrals, although Health Board funding will always require a referral letter.
