IDS provide Prosthetics, Orthotic and Footwear services for Patients/Clients.
Prosthetic rehabilitation is concerned with the replacement of absent and amputated limb segments. Othoses are biomechanical devices intended to support or replace missing natural function.
Specialist footwear is intended to provide an improved level of fit and function which is not available from other sources.
Privately funded patients may not need a formal referral from a healthcare professional and can contact IDS directly for assessment.
For those clients expecting to be funded by the HSE will require a referral from a health care professional - This is still easily achieved, if you referrer is not familiar with IDS please take the referral form with you to your appointment.
